About Me

I was born and raised in Houston, Tx. All throughout elementary and middle school I was always nominated for being Gifted and Talented. I enjoy learning new things and finding out what were my limits when it came to trying something new. When high school came around it was difficult for me to choose what career I wanted to pursue since I would find interested in almost anything shown to me. I took Culinary art classes, I took welding classes which I did end up getting my certificate in welding in 2017. I even took Cosmetology classes. I was involved in many clubs at school including joining the program Army Junior ROTC. When I graduated high school, I had set in place that I was going to stick with welding but it just did not seemed like something I would do for the next 10-15 years. I quickly moved to McAllen, TX to achieve my Associates in Manufacturing Technology Engineering and graduated in 2019.

While taking my last few classes for my Associates, my professor introduced me to Prosthetics and I immediately fell in love. I started researching about how prosthetics works and how to make them. While researching about it, I learned that some prosthetics are even made with 3D printed materials. Since then I had a vision for a future potential device that I want to make and bring to life. My goal and dream at this moment is to learn as much as possible about prosthetics, to work at clinics and connect with patients and help them achieve their dreams even if they have artificial limbs.

I do want to eventually have my own clinic to be able to help those of low-income, to be able to provide prosthetics for children and young adults.
