I got interested in prosthetic/orthotics with the help of one of my college professor. Mrs. Guerra mentioned to me that there is more out there other than working with CNC machines and lathes, and that I should explore those options. In one of my college classes I got introduced to 3D printed materials and quickly fell in love in how astonishing the technology is and I wanted to learn more about how to incorporate 3D printed materials with prosthetics. 

My plans after graduating with my Bachelors/Masters would be to start finding a way to bring my vison to the world. To be able to make an affordable prosthetic for low-income families involving 3D printed materials. I do plan to get my Doctorates but that will be at another state once I'm settled in with my family.
